Arrived on time. They loaded what they could though I feel that they could have squeezed a few more smaller items in the pod. When three hours was up they were done - I told them I was told that if I needed them longer they would stay for an additional fee - they didn't seem too thrilled but stayed 45 minutes but I was charged for the full hour. They left certain things behind that should have gone into to the pod (i.e. TV mounts, part of my bed, and a few other items that I told them needed to go on. Had they loaded the few items I highlighted at the beginning there would have been no problem but as it stood I ended up having to leave behind a very expensive planter, an expensive mirror, and an entire sectional. When I communicated with them throughout the process I could never get a straight answer from them and it was constantly changing.

Juan and crew were flexible, prompt, professional, and courteous. I would use them again in a heartbeat. The hire-a-helper support was sub par as it took an eternity for them to answer our call for a link to release payment, fortunately, the crew was more than patient with the activity.

Maurice and his assistant were awesome. They were efficient with their time, helpful in every way and we will contact them directly for help unloading the POD when our renovation is complete. Great company and will recommend them without hesitation. Thank you. Mindy Higby

They were exceptionally thorough in the move. On time wonderful personality. Surprisingly they were really really good. Sometimes you never know what you’re going to get as far as service is concerned. They were excellent. Wonderful personality. I will use them again absolutely.

When you know for sure that you do not have the skill set to do a job, you hire a professional. The two guys that came to pack our Pod were truly professional! We were totally amazed that they actually managed to get all of our items in that Pod. We had a plan B just in case. Thank you that we did not have to use that plan. Of course, we still do not know if the Pod arrives at its destination with no damages but, I would be surprised if there would be even a minor scratch. These guys are very good and would highly recommend them.

The scheduled time for loading was 10-11am on May 19th. They arrived at 11:30. Crew of two, Dante and David, started out well, but seemed to slow down as time passed. I had thought I would have plenty of time after loading to get back to Penske (30 mins away) to load a car carrier and car to be transported. As it turned out, the four-hour load out (a single wide trailer with very little furniture and mostly boxes) created a lot of stress. The guys were not very communicative. We noted some minor damage on arrival here in Maine.

The crew came on time, knew exactly what to do, worked quickly, and carefully loaded my possessions. In addition, they were polite and respectful. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Awesome crew!

A1 service....some minor furniture damage in transit....metal furniture in contact with wood furniture,....some paint damage on the wood......very good crew packed to make room for other furniture...on time and was able to stay an extra hour....a lot to do....phil swis

Tony and Annessa did a fabulous job unloading our truck and setting up the major furniture in our new home. They demonstrated great experience in setting up our platform bed and reassembling our treadmill. If you are looking for a a stress free moving experience, definitely hire A Move Ahead Movers.

Great to work with. I didn't originally select A Move Ahead Movers for my job so they became a last minute replacement when the other company I had hired failed to respond to my confirmation of the order. I can say everything worked for the best as A Move Ahead Movers quickly responded to my messages about confirming the order and special instructions. Then, on the day of the job, they called me first thing in the moning to re-confirm and then called again to let me know they were available and could begin my job several hours ahead of schedule. The guys were very prepared to unload my fully loaded 20' Uhaul truck, got right to work, and worked hard the entire 2 hours. They were extremely careful unloading and setting up all the delicate pieces in my new home. I strongly recommend this company. Don't make my mistake. Hire this company as your first choice.

My movers were a few minutes late, but called to let me know they were on the way. They were ready to go as soon as they arrived. On a hot muggy day they stayed on task and finished ahead of schedule. Both were very polite and very respectful to us and to our property. No complaints from them when our original plans for placement of some of the furniture changed. Their comment was we are here to help you move in. Just let us know what you need. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for moving labor help. Jimmy

Reliable Moving Service were very cordial, nice young men, polite, and energetic and fun to work with. They were also very sympathetic to the damage my merchandise sustained as a result of the incorrect loading by another company. They worked very hard late into the night to get the job done in one day which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
