The two young men were polite and helpful, as well as strong. Our move went smoothly. They were not experienced with how to protect wooden furniture and mattresses on a freight trailer, so we had to manage that. They were not experienced enough to recommend what to load in what order, so once again, we had to direct them on that. I would recommend this company as the communication was very good before and after the job and the two workers arrived on time.

We agreed to change the time frame for our job to accommodate their morning job. Then they wanted to change again because their job changed. We made it clear we were picking the truck up at 2 PM and that we wouldn't be back at our house until 3 PM for them to start the job. We were fortunate that we were able to pick the truck up earlier than we had expected. As we were heading back to our house with the truck we had several missed phone calls. They called to see if we were still on because of the rain-moving stops for nothing. And they were calling to say they were in our town, etc. We arrived back at our house at 2 PM, 1 hour prior to when we had them scheduled to show, and they were there already. Moving is stressful enough without all the changes and multiple phone calls and the surprise of them being early. Roland, the business owner/lead did a wonderful job. The young guy he had with him stopped helping carry things out of the house after about and hour and was only on the truck organizing stuff..... and standing around waiting for Roland to bring more to him. This slowed the job down tremendously. So much so that they went an hour over the 2 hours we had booked. Honestly, I could foresee them going half an hour over, but I feel that the extra 30 minutes would not have been needed if the younger guy would have helped more with the actual labor of the job. I strongly believe in supporting family owned businesses and that is why I chose them. Roland even commented at the end that it is hard to find good work, in regard to his employee. The truck was super packed and we were happy with the final result. Just not trilled with the work ethic and effort given by the younger gentleman and the time issues and multiple phone calls.

They arrived ten minutes early for the job and worked hard. They also were extra careful when moving the furniture in the house with extra furniture pads. They didn't scratch or hurt any of my belongings. The only down side was they were pushy about a tip. They completed the job 45 minutes early so I thought them being paid the extra time was a generous tip.
