Arthur and Mike were very professional, on time, kept us posted on their arrival time, they were careful and considerate of our property. They were able to unload our truck and place the items in our storage unit as well as keeping separate the items we needed at a separate location. I will be moving into a more permanent location later this year and will definitely be hiring them again. Highly recommended.

C and L Movers were amazing! They were recommended to me through Hire A Helper. C and L was contacted at approximately 5pm on Saturday, as I had moved out of state and the movers I had originally lined up did not show. C and L was here exactly on time, at 9am Sunday and worked! The gentlemen who emptied the moving truck were professionaland friendly. They took wonderful care of my belongings. I could go on and on with positive complements. They even made sure the heavy furniture and items were where I wanted them in the home so I wouldn't have to move anything later. I would HIGHLY recommend C and L. Thank you Hire A Hand!

D and Trevor were very nice guys. They were extremely courteous referring to me as sir and wife as ma'am, which was certainly not required but nice tonowadays. dwys. Hard workers and not afraid to sweat. They didn't pickup a cell phone even once in the four hours they worked for me.

They did break a chair while packing the truck little disappointing didn’t know until we unloaded truck it was packed tight and I think when pushing the stuff back to make room and broke the wood frame.

Nice, considerate, reliable. Highly recommended. I’ll use then again.

Terrance and Eric arrived promptly, greeted me kindly and started in right away. I thought two hours might be enough, but I had a ton of heavy furniture. These two wonderful movers kept going, trip after trip - first out of one place and packing the moving truck perfectly and then unloading everything. I know they aren't always available to go over the time, but I just had so much stuff, and we made 2 trips to the new place and got it all moved. I can't recommend them enough - kind, courteous, professional, hard working, and diligent.

Showed up 15 minutes early for the work. Stayed twice as long as I had booked and were happy to make sure we got everything moved that we wanted moved. 2 guys loaded and unloaded a 15’ truck twice in 6.5 hours. This was to finish the job that I had hired Rockwell’s moving to do. They had 4 people and about a 26’ truck that they could barely load half way in the same amount of time.

Tim and Brian did such an excellent job moving us. They came on time, and were extremely prepared for the job! They sweat their butts off and got us moved out and into our new home in great time. We couldn’t be more thankful for them. Would 100% recommend them!

The movers at Lawrence and Family were absolutely phenomenal!! They were a pleasure to work with, and with 4 movers they completely emptied a 26 foot moving truck in 1 and a half hours. They are extremely hard working and our move in could not have gone any better. I would 100% recommend this company for any of your moving needs.

I have moved more times than I care to remember throughout my time in the Marines and now Federal service. Gordon and his team were by far the easiest to deal with and most friendly and professional moving professionals I have had experience in working with. The communication leading up to, during and upon completion of the job were all beyond exceptional. They called prior to arrival, arrived on time and were by far the most careful and efficient movers I've used to date. While I hope that for my own sanity I don't have to move for a while, if I do I will certainly reach out to Gordon again.

Arrived on time, even early. I ordered packing and loading. However I learned that not all moving companies are really experts at packing. I would not recommend them for packing. Did a fairly decent job with loading the truck. My boyfriend and cousin had to move the bed box spring down the stairs (which they said would have to go out a window or remove the banisters from the stairs). However, the boss did give me some extra "free" time. Not horrible, not the best, definitely affordable. They were respectful of all my goods and property.

I asked Family Movers to arrive at 8. They arrived at 9:40 but did call about 30 minutes prior to their arrival to say they were running late. One of the men who showed up appeared to be a newcomer to moving but seemed to work hard. Another man dropped our TV on the lift gate and broke it. My husband saw him drop items off a hand truck as he went backwards down the front steps. They turned our teak coffee table upright which made the inlay fall out and break. We asked them to move the heavy furniture first then the boxes in the basement. They felt the waterbed mattress and upright antique piano were too difficult to maneuver so they called the owner who drove back from New Jersey to help in the evening. Family Movers was obviously overworked. They had moved a family the day before and were scheduled to move someone the next day at 7:30. We tried to get them to take a lunch break but they wanted to fully load and unload the truck first. The owner agreed that they should have moved the heaviest furniture first when they weren't as tired. He arrived at 9:15 and took them out to dinner. They returned at 10:35. The owner knows what he's doing and was good at getting the others to work harder. He had my husband drive the truck right up to the front porch so they could load the piano directly onto the truck on our dollies without having to go down the stairs. My husband helped all 5 men unload the piano and take it into our house on the main level. Unfortunately, they damaged the door frame and molding because of the weight and manageability. Paint got on the piano and my dresser. I've been told to buy spray 9 to get the paint off the furniture. They stacked heavy items on top of fragile items and placed most of the boxes one right after the other so there was no room to maneuver among or between the boxes in our storage room. Because they were over-tired and moved slowly, it took 14 hours instead of 8 to move. It would have helped if the truck had a ramp instead of a lift gate but we had no control over that. The lift gate made packing and unloading slower. Several items were damaged or broken but Hire A Helper worked with us to reasonably reimburse our losses. We're pleased to be in the unloading, cleaning, and setting up house phase of the move. I think Family Movers can do a good job, especially if the owner works the move himself. We hope this is our last move for a long time.

Movers arrived on time with a phone call about 30 minutes before letting us know they were on the way. Both were quick to start, hard-working and wanted to be certain that they had items placed in the correct places. (boxes and furniture in appropriate rooms) They both took care when bringing furniture across the entryway. They were very respectful of our time and patient when my wife changed her mind on a few things. Would hire again for sure.

The young gentlemen that came out to help were excellent! They did a great job moving some very heavy objects. I was impressed. Very courteous as well.

The team showed up on time and worked hard. They were very careful and polite. My only objection is they worked almost too fast. We had a hard time keeping up with them.

They arrived on time and quickly got to work. Unfortunately, it was not until we unloaded the Pod in Arizona, did we determine the amount of damage that had been done to our belongings.. I would not recommend the use this team to anyone making a move..

I had a very pleasant experience and felt that the movers get a very good job in placing theboxes and furniture in the truck so that everything arrived safely with no damage. Even though I traveled over some very rough roads, everything arrived intact.
